Iliffe Media Subs - Terms and Conditions

  1. The print subscription is only available in the UK where the newspaper is sold locally.
  2. If you have a voucher subscription only original vouchers will be accepted. No scanned, printed or photocopied versions will be accepted. They have no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged for other goods or services.
  3. The cost of the voucher subscription does not include any paper delivery charges which your retailer may levy at their discretion if applicable.
  4. Your vouchers may only be used to purchase the newspaper for the week printed on the front of the voucher.
  5. Digital subscriptions are to our app, available through the app stores. Digital subscription includes access to our premium websites.
  6. Subscribers who take up an exclusive or introductory offer may see their subscription price revert to a higher price once their offer period ends. Please refer to your welcome letter for full details of your next direct debit payment.
  7. A subscription may become invalid if Iliffe Media is unable to secure payment for the service.
  8. If you’ve chosen to pay by direct debit, we will adhere to the guidelines set out in the Direct Debit Guarantee. This information is detailed in the welcome and payment confirmation emails.
  9. Your direct debit payment will appear as Iliffe Media on your bank statement.
  10. If you pay by card, the payment will appear as Iliffe Media on your card/bank statement.
  11. A digital subscription may be cancelled by the subscriber within 14 days of purchase.
  12. You can cancel a voucher subscription order within 14 days of subscribing and receive a full refund as long as you return your vouchers and once the vouchers have been received. If you choose to cancel after this period you will not receive a refund.
  13. Cancellations should be made by telephone. Cancelling a direct debit instruction without informing Iliffe Media to suspend a voucher subscription may result in additional charges.
  14. Only a minimum of four consecutive weeks worth of unused subscription vouchers will be refunded upon return to Iliffe Media. The value of the refund will be equal to the subscription value of the corresponding weeks returned vouchers. If after the initial 14 days a subscription is cancelled there will be no automatic refunds. If a voucher subscription is cancelled, subject to clause 12 above, the subscriber shall continue to be liable for all payments over the subscription period purchased.
  15. If a subscription is cancelled within the first six months any discount entitlement will be withheld.
  16. Iliffe Media reserves the right to discontinue the subscription service at any point by entering into written correspondence with the subscriber.
  17. Iliffe Media reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
  18. Iliffe Media may change the features and functionality of its app and digital subscriptions from time to time.
  19. In the event of a cover price increase, vouchers already issued may be redeemed for a newspaper at its new price. You will be notified of a change in price before further vouchers are issued.
  20. Vouchers are issued in 2 instalments & 6 months at a time.
  21. All digital subscriptions have a minimum 3 months term unless cancelled within the 14 day period outlined in clause 11 above.
